At Dogwood Aikikai, our student body is diverse both ethnically and professionally. We have physicians, university faculty and students, CEOs, technology specialists, artists, business folk, and children. The atmosphere is very collegial. We have focused training rather than competitions. We often invite experts from around the country to our school to teach. Aikido is available all over the world, and our students are welcomed in aikido schools whenever and wherever their business takes them. Dogwood Aikikai is affiliated with the United States Aikido Federation and the International Aikido Federation under Yoshimitsu Yamada Sensei and Mitsunari Kanai Sensei.
